We recently just finished having Henn & Nardini building our house in Lavalette. There was a lot of time put in on their end discussing potential problems with our original set of blueprints with the architect. The architect commented that they were a big help mitigating problems that would have popped up during the project had they not caught it. That was a huge added value to us, the other thing that added a lot of value to the experience and to their credibility is how they got the construction process going so quickly after we ironed out details. There was a lot of work that had to be done on our house and we were trying to get into the house as soon as possible (we were washed out by the storm and were ready to put our beach house back together). We figured that it would take some time just to get permits and approvals from the township, since we’ve been through this before near where we live (northern NJ). They were extremely proactive getting the project through this. You can tell that everyone who works for them have been around the block once or twice, extremely knowledgeable and reliable. They got our pilings drove, foundation done, and had our house framed out extremely quick, we were shocked how quickly they got it up. The finishes inside and outside of the house came out really nice and we’ve been in the house for 8 months now and haven’t had any issues. We were happy with their company and would recommend them.

Great job by Anthony and Kurt. They are extremely professional and courteous. I was unsure of the new kitchen layout that they proposed which deleted one window, but the end results are above any of my expectations. My wife and I are extremely happy.

We have used their services multiple times and were genuinely satisfied each time. They are affordable, dependable, responsive and overall talented. We used them to redo our kitchen (painted cabinets, tile floors, backsplash and granite counter tops), they created a custom slate wall separating our kitchen from our dining room, renovated our family room to include a custom stone bar with shelves and laid the Pergo floors throughout our home. If you are looking to do renovations throughout your home I would highly consider their services.

We have Henn & Nardini do the work on our development properties (flips and rentals). We love the work that they do and their transparency. We wanted to do a very high end new kitchen but we recently moved to NJ. We didn’t know anyone down here, so we decided to “google” contractors. Thankfully we came across Henn & Nardini online because we are very happy with the outcome. Recommend them VERY highly.

If you have a basement that you want finished or renovated, these are the guys to call. We had a custom bar and built-ins put in by them. Recessed lighting throughout the whole basement, and we did a natural stone wall to add some character to the basement. Everything came out beautiful.

We hired Kurt and Anthony to help finish out our garage and build a man cave / bar area. They did an outstanding job. They worked with us to help think through the options for the space, gave us a fair estimate and then delivered the work on time and on budget. These guys did some custom woodwork and cultured stone for a fireplace that I wanted done. After it was finished I decided to do some built in cabinets also and they did a great job on that also. Thanks a lot.

Great job done by Anthony and Kurt. Very professional and done in a timely manner. Completely changed my kitchen from out of date to modern. Completely gutted my kitchen and ripped up the floors and but down new beautiful hardwood and Quartz countertops.

They do very nice work and are accountable, which was important for us when we were renovating our home. We didn’t want our project to carry on like we had to deal with other contractors in the past.

Completed our kitchen and it came out gorgeous. Opened up a wall from our kitchen to our living room putting in a large beam. We really achieved our opened concept and the craftsmanship was exceptional on their part.

We had a beautiful addition done by Henn & Nardini on our house. We wanted to add more space to our living room. We blew out the back of the living room, extended it about 15 feet, added a fireplace with beautiful stone and trim. It’s really nice for the winter time and when we have guests over. We were surprised how quickly they got the project done.

As we were buying our first house, we entertained the thought of buying a fixer-upper. We want to live in a specific area, and to get what we wanted it wasn’t feasible to buy it ‘ready to move in’. My boyfriend and I have been looking for a shore home for almost a year now, we live in the city. Our parents owned a home down the shore, and we wanted to relive the same experience. We couldn’t find exactly what we wanted that was move in ready, so we decided to buy something in need of work so that we could build OUR house. It’s been quite some time since we’ve done a construction project so we thought it might be a great experience. We found 3 contractors when we searched online that we thought would be worthwhile contacting. All of them were very professional and prompt, but we felt that Henn & Nardini had great people and a great process.

We met with their Architects and Engineers to get the design process started which was a pleasure. They’re very thorough and had our construction documents ready to go in a timely manner. We put our project out to bid, just to make sure that all of their numbers would line up when it came to their construction proposal, which it did. At that point we decided to move forward with them, no slight to the other builders, but we just felt more comfortable that they would deliver a better product that coincided with our vision. I’m glad that we moved forward with them, looking back on their professionalism, transparency, workmanship, and honesty.

The house we bought needed a lot of work, especially to make it feel like OUR house. It was extremely dated….not only the finishes but the layout as well, it was cut up. The scope of work included raising the home, removing the 3rd floor roof and re-framing, re-framing the whole first floor, creating living space under the house, new windows, new doors, new siding, new roof, and new decking on the exterior. Complete gut of the inside interiors with reconfiguration of all 3 floor layouts. Basically outside of keeping some exterior and interior framing, a new home….which was exactly what we wanted.

Things progressed nicely, and they always kept us in the loop of the progress, which was great for us considering we are in the city. The owners are always a phone call away, or they get back to promptly which was also nice if you had questions or concerns. Our end product came out beautiful. The layout of our new house is great, we can entertain large parties, have people over to go to the beach (with parking), or just relax.

Last year, after we paid off our 30-year mortgage, my wife and I decided that since our family dynamic no longer is what it was, that we should consider selling and moving to a warmer climate. After consulting with our realtor about an asking price, it was evident that accepting our outdated kitchen and bathroom would be major considerations for prospective buyers. Our realtor, the same one who sold us our home 30 years ago in whom we trust implicitly, suggested that we should spend somewhere in the neighborhood of $30,000 to renovate because, in the current increasingly slow home sales market, it is the appearance and quality of the kitchen and bath and appliances that are either the deal makers or the deal breakers. Doing the math, it made a great deal of sense to bring our kitchen and bath into the 21st Century. It was our realtor who suggested Henn & Nardini Contracting to us to do the job. Even so, we asked for estimates from several very reputable Home Improvement Contractors for the sake of price and quality of work comparison. Some broke appointments we made; others didn’t even take the time to call back. When we met with Kurt and Anthony from Henn & Nardini, we were greatly impressed by their professionalism, references, knowledge, extensive experience, and track record. They took a great deal of time with us, answering the many questions we had and covered every detail with us, from what the completed project would look like, the time required to do the job, and costs. My wife has a very good intuitive sense when it comes to people and she let me know that she trusted that Kurt and Anthony should be the ones to do the job. Turns out her trust was well-founded. In less than two months without any inconvenience to our family, the job was finished. As the work progressed, my wife and I marveled at the quality of Kurt and Anthony’s craftsmanship, the extreme care which they took in making sure that everything was exactly as it should be, and their careful attention to every detail. My wife and I can’t thank Kurt and Anthony enough for transforming our home into the home we always wanted. Now we’re having second thoughts about moving and our realtor, seeing how desirable our property has become, is chomping at the bit to convince us to put it on the market.
